They call me the Cook of the two Sicilies because my childhood memories and the inspirations of my experience led me to travel from West to East Sicily. Just like two distant regions, each one of them has its own story that affects taste rituals: a thousand contradictions separate them but the boundless richness of nature unites them. And I try to protect all this nature precisely by exalting it in my cuisine.

This house is like a dock along a river of history. In the heart of Modica, in the ground floor of an anciant palace on the town’s main Corso, I opened my little kitchen and this is where I invite you to stop to enjoy centuries of culture.
I want this place to be the meeting point of people who have gone through all Sicilies, passing through seas and lands. It is the ideal barycentre between the cities of Sciacca and Modica, which are the places of my own story, where all my tales have started, both on and off my table. Most of Sicily’s appeal is guarded in a treasure chest: in my home I’ll give you the key to unlock it.
